My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HANSEL is a 3 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 72 pounds. Hansel loves to be around people and has a wicked lab lean and loves to be around you. If you scratch his butt he will keep turning around and leans into you so you can get to just the right spot. He likes to retrieve and has a ball playing while bringing the toy back. He is very much a people dog and would love a home with some active folks that have a yard so he can get exercise he loves. Good with other dogs. Knows some commands sit, down and come. Pulls a bit on lead at first, better with an Easy Walk Harness. Is keeping his room clean at the shelter so may be house trained. He was a stray to the shelter with Gretel who was adopted. Hansel is very friendly and likes to play ball. It was hard to get a picture as he was so excited to be out running. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update (7/3): Hansel is settling in at his foster home. He loves his ball and he is a great retriever! Hansel loves people- he wants to say hi to everyone. He does great with a Easy Walk Harness for walks. Hansel knows sit, and down( almost) with a treat. He does great in the crate and slept all night without a peep.
