My story

What is it like to fall in love with your Iggy? Well let me introduce you to Hugo. He is a tan six to seven-year-old male Italian Greyhound with a Harry Potter marking on his neck. Hugo is fully potty trained and will use the supervised doggy door when his foster mom is home. Hugo is crate trained during the work-day to make sure he is safe and does great with a potty break mid work-day.

Hugo is about sixteen pounds of pure love. His temperament is relaxed, sweet natured and gentle, yet he is also exceptionally playful and athletic at times. He is confident around other dogs, children, and people. Cats get his sighthound instinct a little too engaged, so they will not make a best house-mate for him ;) He will come up to his humans for a snuggle and leap away contentedly to play with his toys. He loves to bathe in the sun. Hugo enjoys long walks with his humans and doggy friends. During walks, Hugo will get very excited when seeing squirrels. He is easily redirected with a “leave it” command. After a long nap, Hugo receives his humans with a wag of his tail and he is ready to play with his favorite squeaky toys!
