Slick's Story...
Slick is the kind of cat who will always make you laugh. His nickname is Mr. Carlton because when he wants to get attention he stands and does a little dance, when his arms swing it looks like he is imitating Carlton from Fresh Prince! He always wants to be near you, he loves to cuddle but he doesn't love to be picked up. He will let you pick him up but he does not want to stay in your arms. He loves to talk and play and he will sleep right by your side. He does not know he is a cat so to show his appreciation he licks you like a dog would! He will also be waiting at the door for you when you come home. He is house trained and very good and clean about his litter box.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slick, a Orlando-Kissimmee Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando-Kissimmee, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando-Kissimmee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando-Kissimmee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando-Kissimmee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando-Kissimmee paves the way for another one to be saved.
