Please Note: Herschel is NOT an SSRR dog. He is posted here as a courtesy to a Laskey’s Lucky Ones & Volunteers (LLOV) Please contact Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in adopting him. SSRR has no information on this boy, other than what is here on his profile.
Herschel is a love bug who thinks everyone is here to see him. He is playful and loves to go on runs, hikes, long walks and chase toys in the yard. He was saved from the euthanasia list from a high kill shelter with only hours to spare. He's working hard in his training classes and is very treat motivated. He’s looking for a dedicated owner who understands that he needs continued training after adoption and he would do best as an only dog and with children 10 years of age and older who understand how to best interact with a large breed dog. Herschel needs a special family that is willing to spend time with him to get the exercise he needs to be happy as well as give him lots of belly rubs and cuddles.
