My story

Meet Mars, aka Mars-Bar!

This handsome dude is a 2 year old black and tan purebred German Shepherd, looking for the right family to fall in love with!

Mars is an excellent candidate for adoption -- he plays well with most dogs, knows commands, loves people and playing ball, and is crate trained. Mars will also make an excellent guard dog for a family home, he has the classic German Shepherd mentality, and is very alert and vocal. With that said, proper leadership and discipline will be needed going forward to make sure he knows his boundaries.

Mars is OK with cats, but our ideal household would definitely be cat-free. Another dog in the household should be fine as long as it's a female of decent size. He'd be best with older, dog savvy kids. As with all of our rescues, lifetime training with us is included as part of the adoption, and we hope Mars' future family will be excited about continuing his training to ensure he reaches his potential as a pooch!
