Gentle, sweet little Meep was found by a rescuer huddled in her cage at a kill shelter. She had such a nervous stomach when she arrived in her foster home - sick almost every day but it didn't stop her from enjoying being with a family. She is on the road to full recovery under the treatment of an integrative vet (donations from fosters). She has been on a raw diet with small frequent meals with supplements: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening treat and a bedtime meal.
It takes her no time at all to fall in love - Meep is a professional snuggler. She loves other dogs, too, but it takes her a while to warm up - she prefers people. When she goes to the dog park she loves to show off how fast she is. She can hold her own with bigger dogs (or at least outrun them).
You couldn't ask for a more docile, polite pup - she's a lady on the leash, waits quietly by the door to let you know she needs to go out, wouldn't think of chewing anything but a bone, a crate was just not needed. She's even a great co-pilot on car rides, settles down right away. She's just happy to be with her pack, there's no high energy to burn off.
Being a very sensitive sighthound, Meep would do best in a calm, peaceful household. Large families with chaos or stress would make her anxious & affect her health so we feel she would do best in a home with older children. Meep does respond well to gentle consistency.
She deserves a furever family to love her. Maybe that would be you? If you would like to be that family, then fill out an adoption application & be sure to mention her name - Meep (VIXEN SCAS)
