Miko (Declawed)'s Story...
Please only respond if you are looking for a BIG CAT. This boy is truly large and impressive - and he's a big baby. He's a lap cat, very affectionate, and has been declawed. He needs to be an indoor cat only and he adjusts to new surroundings well. He lost his home due to human circumstances. He has lived with his sister, Ashes, but separating them is possible - each are at ease when separated. We'd love to introduce you to him. Miko is fostered until he finds a forever home in Huntsville, AL. To meet him, please complete our application at www.FORrescue.net. If you have questions, please email info@FORrescue.net Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miko (Declawed), a Chattanooga Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
