My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyme - beautiful White kitty looking for someone to love him.
About 5 years ago when I was a kitten I followed two girls home from school. The girls had permission from their daddy to keep me as their indoor kitty and they named me Tyme. One year later, another kitty was added to the household and I didn't like that. Daddy kicked me out of the house because I expressed my displeasure with the new kitty. Word on the street is that my daddy also shot me in the behind with a BB gun. Maybe that's why I'm a little sensitive to the touch on my rump and you need to be careful when you pick me up.

I was fearful living outside and really didn't trust the other outdoor cats living on my street. A nice neighbor lady, a retired teacher, who lived across the street would always feed me, protect me and shoo the other outdoor neighborhood cats away so I could eat in peace. Nonetheless, I was always looking over my shoulder at feeding time.

I was living on the street for three years. Oh how I wanted to be safely inside and loved by someone again! As luck would have it, in August of 2014, a rescuer came over to help with a litter of kittens suddenly discovered by the lady who always fed me. The rescuer asked about me and noticed how friendly I was and how much I meowed because I wanted someone to save me. Well, this rescuer then called my current foster mom (also a rescuer) and as soon as she heard about my plight she came to pick me up that very night!

She scooped me up before I knew it and in the carrier I went. I was very happy to be off the streets and safely at my foster mom's house. To this day, I'm still not particularly fond of other cats so I'd really prefer to be the only cat in your life.

I'm a pretty low maintenance guy and I just want about 10 minutes of your time once or twice a day. I'll sit on your lap, rub your leg, knead on a blanket or lay beside you to get my lovin' and then I'll let you get about your busy day. Of course, if you have more time, I'll certainly take it. I am fairly vocal though and I'll let you know when I want a little TLC.

I am about 5 years old, neutered, negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, and current on vaccinations/flea medication.

I am currently living by myself in an upstairs bedroom at my foster mom's house; I prefer to be in this room alone as opposed to co-habiting with the group of other foster cats. But, I am getting a bit lonely for more attention so I'm really hoping someone will adopt me soon!
