Izzy's Story...
Hi there! I'm izzy. I'm a shy girl who can be fearful at first. Once I warm up I'm a total sweetheart. I love to be active and love love love to play fetch. I love people and kids and most dogs but when I'm feeling overwhelmed I sometimes act fearful. I'm learning a better way now! I'm kennel trained and happy to go for a walk. I'm learning that cats are ok and even though I'm a border collie, I shouldn't chase them. But I don't hurt them, I sometimes get very hyper around them, but it's getting way better, my fister is flooding me with cats and kittens to desensitize me and it's working like a charm! Right now I'm learning a better way to deal with cats and stress and new things, but I'm a quick learner and I've come so far that it won't be long and I'll be totally trained! Until then, you can come visit me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Edmonton Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
