Tucker's Story...
Howdy everyone! My name is Tucker & I'm almost 5 months old, not sure what breed I'm mixed with but I'm full of love & cuteness. I'm a little shy at first but after a couple minutes, you'll win my heart. I Love toys & other dogs but think it would be cool to be the only dog & get all the attention too. I'm working on house training but my foster says I'm doing great. Also, working on crate training, I sleep all night crated without fussing but not impressed being crated when no one else is home, so a home with someone home often would be great for me. I will be neutered next week & will be looking for a family to love me, I promise it's really easy to fall in love with me. I'm very smart, very trainable & would love a fenced in area to play & run around. Oh and I must add, since I'm still a puppy, anything that can fit in my mouth I'll put in my mouth. I love to play but I'm pretty laid back for a puppy, when I'm done playing I love to cuddle. If you look into my handsome eyes, you'll fall heads over heels for me My adoption fee is $250. Please email rescueofhope@gmail.com. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
