Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Mika (that’s Mee-kah) and I’m an 8 month old beautiful brindle girl weighing in at 40 pounds right now. When I tell you brindle – I mean from nose to toes brindle. They say I’m a Hound Mix, which I think is just a mix of a little of everything. I have a fairly slender build which you can see in my face – a few people say I look a little like a greyhound but my foster mom isn’t too sure about that – she just says I’m cute as can be. I love to play and have lots of energy and want to see and be part of what everyone is doing but if you give me a chance to get all the initial excitement of “newness” out I do calm down and focus on what’s happening around me. I like to spend some time in my crate just observing but don’t want to miss a thing either. I have spent the last two months at the shelter where I was brought in as a stray but I already know how to sit and I’m super eager to learn more. I really love people of all sizes and I have lots of respect for my elder dogs in my foster home – the cats are alright too (except the orange one who scares me). I don’t jump at the door to go for a walk, but once I get out there I think I do pretty well. My foster mom crated me the first couple nights and days and I did great so now she’s starting to let me have a “little” more freedom so I can play with my furry foster friends during the day. She left me out for a few hours to see if I was trustworthy and I did well – except for the cardboard box I had fun with...oh and the stuffed animals? Nope I didn't tear them up (just drenched them it good ole fashioned dog chewiness). On a more serious note. I'm a healthy little girl. I'm already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on all preventatives. I'm a great little gal and I just know we would love each other forever (I'll even leave the cardboard boxes alone). I keep hearing about this happily ever after thing and it sounds wonderful!! I want to be someone's little princess and have that too! I'm ready if you are!
