Lacey's Story...
Welcome Lacey!! She is a beautiful Weimaraner/Whippet mix, who was found on a ranch with a broken front leg (we assume hit by a car). The leg healed beautifully and she was a very good girl with her cast and having to undergo crate rest for her healing. She is now 6 months old, fully vaccinated, spayed, dewormed and completely healthy. She was too young to have heartworms yet so was started on prevention. She is a super friendly, smart, enthusiastic and very trainable little girl. She's friendly with other dogs and everyone she meets. She's 24 lbs now, but her adult weight may be around 30 lbs. Now that she's all healed up, she would probably like to a be an active dog and will make a great addition to an active household. She is currently in Texas in boarding at a vet office. ** Note her cast is still on but her leg has been xrayed and the bone has mended. She is still in the cast but it will be removed in a few days** Her adoption fee is 170 and her adoption fee is 185. We handle all the details. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Lacey. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Pluckemin Weimaraner/Whippet puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Whippet for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Weimaraner/Whippet puppy from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Whippet breeders who help with Weimaraner/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
