Soloman's Info...

I am already spayed, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Soloman's Story...
King Soloman of ancient lore was tested many times with magnificent trials of intelligence and endurance. I, too, feel like I have been spat from a demon’s mouth into an unknown land to once again reclaim my throne. I am of sound mind and body and need an active family that will keep my mind and body working. I love going for walks, and my leash skills are quite regal. I can be wary of meeting new people, but I warm up quickly to those I like. I get along with other dogs very well and would really thrive in a home with another dog to pal around with. Kids 8+ would be best for me since I can get rowdy and might knock over little ones. I do not get along with cats, and if I had my way I would seal them all in lamps and toss them in the ocean, but that's just me. I am trying my best at this crate training, but I do get anxious and need to be effectively secured. Come embark on a wondrous journey of friendship, adventure, and love. Our exploits just might become a thing of legend.
6 years old-82lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soloman, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
