Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi is approximately 5 or 6 years old, Black and Red, Female German Shepherd. She is spayed , up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
Lexi was rescued out of a high kill shelter just in time. We are so fortunate to have Lexi with us in Rescue, since she has been at our Rescue Camp she is such a sweet girl. She has excellent house manners, loves to play with plush toys, and smiles all the time. She would do best in a home without small children because she prefers the quiet life. Stressful situations can overwhelm her so she needs a quiet environment vs a high active home. She walks excellent on the leash, is good in the car but sometimes car rides are a bit stressful. Lexi is good around other dogs but does not want to be jumped on or wants to play she just prefers to be around her people. No small animals we see how she has a prey drive with her plush/squeaky toys. If you can offer Lexi a nice, calm home, laid back family she can love or need additional information regarding our adoption process please email me direct on luvgermansheps@yahoo.com or submit an online application via our website www.k-9services.net go to Adoption Application page. An application needs to be completed prior to arranging a meet and greet.
All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
