This little lady is very dear to my heart. The ACO asked me if I would foster her because she was about to have puppies and they didn’t want them to be born in the shelter. When I got there to get her she was huge and looked miserable, but she wasn’t hardly as close as we thought. About a week and a half later, she had five beautiful, healthy puppies. She raised them inside my doggie building, so during that process she was also house trained, puppy pad trained and crate trained. She was on the same schedule as my personal dogs, she went out early morning, noon, after work and at bed time. The only time she used the pads were at night…sometimes she couldn’t make it all night long. I kept the puppies in an exercise pen and left the gate open so she could come and go as she pleased. She was a wonderful little mother and the perfect house guest, never bothered a thing. Adeline is pretty quiet, more on the gentle side and she is super sweet and loving. She loves being outside and gets along great with all of the other dogs. In the evenings I let her out with my dogs so she can get a little exercise…she explores the yard but always stays near. Her babies are weaned now, so she is looking for her own wonderful new family. She is a little over a year old, weighs approximately 10 pounds, has been spayed, heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Her puppies will be posted about the first of July.
