Harvey's Story...
Born September 2009. Approx. 46 lbs. Harvey has gorgeous red and white beagle markings, along with black eyeliner around his pretty brown eyes. He has a lot of those wonderful characteristics beagles are known for, just in a little stockier package. Harvey loves people and will make someone an awesome and loving companion. When Harvey is calm and focused, he jumps at the chance to "shake" and "sit". He is a very smart boy! Harvey is very strong on the leash, especially when his fabulous beagle nose kicks in, so he needs work on his leash skills, but I have no doubt this smart boy will master this also. Harvey does well in Canine Social park, but he prefers to have you all to himself. Harvey is a loving and very special guy who is waiting for that special someone fall in love with him and give him the home he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a San Leon Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
