Marshall's Story...
Marshall is a 15mo purebred Cairn Terrier(bought from breeder, given up to mother with 2 small children, then to H4S CARes to place in CORRECT home for this little guy's needs). Marshall weighs ~15lbs, is friendly & playful, current on all vax, heartworm negative, microchipped, crate-trained and will be neutered on Jan 29th. He gets along well with other dogs and will need a regular regime of brisk walks each day or a secured fenced-in yard, for his need for daily exercise. He is a typical terrier and will nip at fingertips to get attention. Small children may misinterpret this as aggression. S,o, to avoid this scenerio, we ask that families with small children(<5yrs) not apply to adopt Marshall. We will be checking all potential adopters with reference checks and a home visit. For more information on this great little guy, please, contact his foster mom at: lucymdoll@yahoo.com or call: 828-208-4731 Marshall's adoption fee is $200. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *******Howlin4Spirit Companion Animal Rescue******* ********Adoption Application******** Thank you, for considering adopting a rescued companion animal. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a South Burlington Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in South Burlington, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in South Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
