Rudi's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rudi's Story...
Rudi is approx 7mos old, and a Corgi mix. He was rescued from a high-kill Animal Control facility, and will be ready for his new home after he has completed his quarantine period(all puppies are required to complete a 2 week quarantine period) and has been thoroughly vetted, on March 30th. Rudi id a rascal with a tail. He exudes energy and love. He loves to be with his people, and loves attention. But, with patience and understanding, Rudi will flourish into an A1 companion animal. This little guy might be a bit too rough, presently, so I will not consider a home with small children for his forever home. It is unknown if he gets along with cats...but, he gets along well with other dogs. If you have a need for something to energize your life, and will metamorphosis into a lovely companion and best friend, then this boy is the ticket. Rudi needs a person/family who will include him in their lives and consider him an intregal part of the family. He doesn't like to be excluded, so I promised him I'd find him the RIGHT family for his needs. All others need not apply to adopt Rudi. For more information on Rudi, please contact his rescuer at:, or by calling 828-245-3685

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudi, a Portland Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cardigan Welsh Corgi for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cardigan Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Cardigan Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
