Marathon's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Marathon's Story...
Adoption fee reduced to $5 -- This boy's situation is urgent as he is in a temporary foster home where he can stay only 1-2 weeks at most. A very loving 2-3 year old male, found living in a very dangerous situation, inthe woods behind a convenience store, surrounded by feral cats and coyotes. He has very quickly adjusted to life indoors and clearly has had one time been someone's pet....very sweet boy. Doing well around other cats. He has been neutered and has his rabies vaccine now. He'll be getting distemper vaccine as well before transition to his adoptive home. There is little time for this fellow....he needs a home quickly. Can you give this sweet young boy the loving home he so deserves?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marathon, a Concord Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Concord, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
