My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a sweet 7 year old boy who's appears to have been through rough times and has plenty of scars to prove it. He was very timid at first but is warming up quite nicely. He gets along well with the other dogs in my house but will growl if he starts to feel overwhelmed or crowded. He runs and plays nicely at the dog bark and seems to bond quicker with other male dogs. He's hand shy and flinches when you pet him but is starting to enjoy the attention. You can tell that he so badly wants to trust but is still a bit hesitant. He does not like to be startled or reached for with quick motion so I do not think he should go to a home with children under 5. He is good at using the dog door to go potty and he puts himself in his crate when we all go to bed at night.

His temporary foster also says that he does not mind cats and mostly ignores them but is unsure if she would leave him alone with them.
