My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Can you hear me now?!! Millie Wonka is a mixed breed (totally- can't even guess at a mixture). Sweet, silly, long legged and slim. Need we mention the ears that sit atop her head like 2 oversized butterflies- flipping and flopping, moving independently of each other. Adorable. Twenty one pounds, six months old and heartworm negative.
Millie concentrates on pleasing her humans and is very trainable- she readily slipped into the working routine of her foster home where there is a grouchy alpha male dog, a parrot and a pet squirrel- all of whom she has learned to keep 'paws off'. There are also 3 cats in her foster home and they are teaching Millie the nuances of interspecies interactions. She plays well with other dogs, but is capable of entertaining herself. She is exuberant but not erratic, very loving with everyone and is especially drawn to children. Millie crates without complaint at lights out, and is clean dry in the morning and ready to welcome a new day full of promise.
