Chloe's Story...
Chloe is a delightful and cuddly gem of a girl. This tiny 1.5 year old Maltese is totally precious and brimming over with love. Chloe loves to snuggle, be petted and sleep in the bed with her foster mom and at 6-lbs. she's easy to cuddle with. Chloe’s favorite thing to do is be with her person, but if there is another small dog in the home, that is okay. Chloe's coat had to be shaved down due to matting, but she's starting to look like a fuzzy little cutie now that it's growing in. If you want a precious pup to love who will love you in return, Chloe is your girl. Chloe requires an adult family and one where her people are home frequently; she would be sad if she was left at home alone all day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Greensboro Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
