Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet River was abandoned and left in the woods of St Louis. Luckily for her, one of our fosters happened to be camping that weekend and scooped her up. Now she is in a safe, loving foster home ion Tennessee where she is getting all of the attention she needs. River is approx 3 months old ( 6/20/15). She has an absolutely PERFECT personality. She is laid back, gentle, kind, tolerant of anything, almost never barks and is wonderfully pleasant and always happy and wagging her tail. River is currently being fostered in Tennessee in a home with other pets. She is house trained, crate trained, has a healthy respect for cats, is wonderful with children. Once adopted she will travel to her new forever home via transport. For an adoption application on River please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com
All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions, https://alphadogtransport.com/ and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters. The adoption fee includes the transport fee.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
