Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Merlin's breed is considered a PLOTT Hound. This wonderful neutered boy is approximately 70 lbs, and just turned 6 yrs young in April. Like all our pets, he is current on vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He loves spending time outside with furry companions and his human companions too. Merlin gets along great with other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats, has little prey drive… and loves to run and explore the great outdoors so a fenced yard is a necessity for him. He is crate trained as well. We think Merlin was "raised in the country and in an outside environment“ because the noises and busyness of city life makes him a bit nervous. Even though Merlin is SHY about meeting new people, once you have earned Merlin's trust, he will show his true nature (and might even climb in your lap). He is a lean, jovial, loving, and fun companion who would do great with a family or single companion that loves the great outdoors, and is looking for a loyal and lifetime friend. His preference is women and children (over the age of 10 is recommended); he seems selective about his interaction with men.
