Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Pearlie Mae
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: Born on October 6, 2013
WEIGHT: About 7 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Gets along great with other small dogs, Unsure with cats
CHILDREN: Will be fine with older children (13 and older)
Pearlie Mae is one of Penelope’s puppies. She was born the evening of October 6, 2013, along with her 3 sisters, as her foster parents watched. She now weighs 7 pounds, and is adorable. She loves to snuggle with her people and her furry sisters.
A genetic study done on Pearlie verified that she is 1/2 Chihuahua and ¼ Lhasa Apso. The other ¼ is likely a mix of Miniature Poodle, Labrador Retriever, Irish Setter, Portuguese Water Dog and Harrier. What fun to know so much about your mixed breed dog and be able to watch for different characteristics.
Pearlie Mae has great wiry fur and sparkling eyes. Pearlie doesn’t let her wonky legs slow her down one bit! She was born with them, and even as a tiny puppy, was the first to crawl over to the pee pads rather than go on the floor. She is always loving and gets along with the other dogs. She is housebroken and rumor has it that she even uses the dog door sometimes! Pearlie's human mama is sick, and Pearlie would love a new place to call home.
Pearlie Mae is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
