My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES ROMMEL INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!

Rommel is an approx. 1 year old German Shepherd Mix pupster, due to more irresponsible people not spaying and neutering with this chronic epidemic here, another litter of pups were born and given away or sold cheaply. Of little value and the lack of truly caring people,
Rommel found himself in a high intake shelter, hungry and sad.
IDGSR took this Kid in and he is such a doll baby. He is so sweet, gets along fine with other dogs, and is good with people. He is crate trained but does well outside the crate and often doesn't need to be crated. Rommel is a goof ball, he will do best with another young dog to play with, matter of fact one of his good active friends here is little Hazel Marie who has equal the amount of energy and fun loving dog like Rommel is. Rommel is a little skittish with men at first, he is fine with women. He is also a good watch dog. Would do best with a female owner and no children.

Training equals Education.
These are fur children, they need training, education and guidance and you would not stop at Kindergarten for your human children, it's the same for fur kids, they need ongoing guidance and love.
If you would like to make Rommel a member of your family, please copy and paste the link below and apply to this rescue.
