My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Anushka and my name has several meanings, all of them special, just like me. One meaning of Anushka is "favor, grace.” And it is also used as a term of endearment, which you will understand when you see my beautiful face. I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County shelter when I was found as a stray. I am a petite Maine Coone/Tabby mix. Do you have a lap? If so, you will love the way I climb on whenever you sit down. You’ll see I have a very sweet, loving personality. My friends at the shelter tell me I am adorable and we are sure you will fall in love with me the minute you meet me. I will magically put you under my spell. I will roll around, purr, knead and drool -- all because I love my humans so much and because I am just a very happy cat. I will be your shadow when you are home and will follow you everywhere. I am a low activity cat, so if you are looking for someone who is not too active, please come meet me. I am not into playing much and am happiest with your love and attention. I do enjoy being brushed which is very important because I need help maintaining my beautiful coat. Does your home have room for a sweet princess like me? I was born in 2013.
