Meet dear Ms. Pinky who has traveled a tough journey to the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF). Pinky was discovered at Tidelands Park in a cardboard box left to fend for herself. She was terribly emaciated and had lost most of her hair as the result of a skin condition. Thanks the to TLC given to Pinky by the ACF staff and volunteers, she has now been cleared for adoption by the PAWS veterinarian. Pinky is a two year old female Chihuahua who weighs 6 pounds.

This little girl has bat like ears and eyes that will draw you into communication with her. She has an endearing personality and bonds easily with her human pals. Ready to follow you anywhere, Pinky is destined to be your very loving companion. She loves being held in your arms where she offers lots of kisses and hugs. Due to her size, Pinky would do best in a home with adults and older children, a couple or in a single person household with someone ready to spend time with her. Come meet Pinky soon and see how this little girl can become your forever best friend!

The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays) and is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may fill out the online dog adoption application at pawsofcoronado.org or contact dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
