Hi! My name is Chibs. I'm named for a character in the TV series "Sons of Anarchy". Maybe I'm not people sized, but my vehicle of choice is a motorcycle! Ah... the joy of the open road - it keeps me mellow! I love to spend my time away from it playing with toy mice, snoozing on a soft bed, and enjoying chin scratches! I'm a calm and loving guy to both other cats and people.

I've been here my whole life and I am so ready to go home! I love people; I love to be held; sometimes I love some people so much I like to hold any part of them I can get in my mouth! I like other kitties and I like kids. Not one of the volunteers can understand why I haven't been swooped up yet! Well, here's the deal. YOU are my family and I am waiting for YOU. Please come down and get me and bring me home! You won't believe how loved you will feel. I am quite social and really enjoy the company of the other kitties in this room. Someone's got to navigate!

Well, will wonders never cease? Someone loves me to pieces but can't bring me home because of a possessive one in residence! So, instead...my adoption fees are sponsored! And even better...so are a buddy's! That means you can take me home with one of the kitties here in the Teal room - or any other room - free of charge! Woo hoo!! That will really help me because, as much as I am ready to go home, I will be scared for a little bit and having a navigator with me (that can also watch my back in case the bike breaks down and I have to do a roadside repair!!) will be a huge comfort.

So, what are you waiting for! I know you're out there and when I meet you, you will know that you are my family! I'll be sure to tell you.

Click here to see me on WRAL. I look a little squirmy on my TV blitz but that's only because the lights and moving cameras are scary. But I do have “star appeal” - don't I? And I love to play and be held!

About Cat Angels Pet Adoptions

About Our Shelter...

Cat Angels Pet Adoptions is a cat and kitten rescue and adoption organization in the Triangle Area of NC. We are a no-kill shelter. Our goal is to help homeless, abandoned and abused cats and kittens find safe, loving, permanent homes. Every cat and kitten available for adoption has been spayed or neutered, is completely vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia or FIV, microchipped with a Home Again microchip and has been dewormed. We have a Lifetime Return Policy for all of our cats and kittens. For whatever reason, we will gladly accept any of our cats and kittens back into our program.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have public adoption hours at our new cat adoption facility on Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from noon to 4:00 pm.

We are located at 959 N. Harrison Avenue, Cary NC 27513

This is in the Northwoods Market Shopping Center, at the intersection of N. Harrison Avenue and N. Maynard Road.

If you can't come on a Friday or Saturday, appointments can be made during the week.

Our Adoption Process...

Please fill out an adoption application on our website. One of our adoption counselors will contact you for a phone interview and if you have any current pets, a vet check will be done. Once you have an approved application, you are welcome to come inside any of the five cat and kitten rooms and visit with our wonderful cats. Once you decide who is your forever pal, we need you to take a breather and leave the facility for thirty minutes. This is our "cool down" period in which you can think clearly about your decision. We call this "going on walk about." If you come back, bring a carrier, because your newly adopted cat will be going home with you. An adoption fee is $115 per cat, which covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, de-worming and vaccinations. You will sign an adoption contract and be given copies of the medical records for the cat or kitten. We have a lifetime return policy for all of our cats and kittens.
