About Furry Friends of Indiana

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501c3 pending organization in Northern Indiana who seeks to save tiny souls, four paws a time. We foster and raise orphaned or abandoned kittens until they are healthy and old enough to go to their forever home. Our fosters are dewormed, receive first vaccinations, flea treatment, and are microchipped before adoption.

If you are interested in volunteering with us as a bottle-feeder, foster for weaned kittens, or for events, please email us at

Furry Friends can always use help with Breeders Edge kitten formula,grain-free dry kitten food, cat litter (scoopable and clay), kitten bottles, and towels/blankets. We also need pillows, fabric, and cages of all sizes (from hamster cage to huge).

*NOTE: We are at capacity and are not accepting anymore kittens for 2015. Please contact your local shelter to see if they contacts for a bottle feeder*** If you have orphaned kittens, please call 260-610-5171. The sooner we receive the orphans, the greater their chance of survival. We are unable to give any medical advice. If you have an animal that is sick or injured, you need to contact a veterinarian.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Adoption Process...

Fee varies. Please see individual adoption profiles for more information. We do a meet-and-greet at your home, to ensure a good fit, and have an adoption contract (a spay/neuter contract required for unaltered kittens). You will need to complete and submit a short adoption application at
