Emmy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Emmy's Story...
Emmy is a beautiful girl who was surrendered to the local pound at 10 years old because of her owners health issues.
Emmy is incredibly smart and very affectionate. So affectionate in fact, that she can get jealous with other dogs sharing attention. If you have another dog, you need to be a confident handler to ensure both dogs are happy.

Emmy has been vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed and is ready for her final forever home, where she can happily live out the rest of her years.

Adoption Fee: $150.00 (senior)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a Woodstock Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
