BRIDGETTE's Story...
What a beautiful little girl! Her coloring is gorgeous, more of a golden tan and she has the most beautiful hazel colored eyes. She also has a super sweet personality - she is good natured, active, friendly, happy and playful…just a great little gal. She loves people and gets along with all the other dogs. Bridgette and her brother were rescued from a local kill shelter (found in a box on the steps of the City Hall), therefore, we’re not totally sure of their breeding. Whatever it is, they are big, stout, healthy looking puppies that love to run and play. She was born around April 8th, so at the time of this posting she is 11 weeks old and weighs around 12-13 pounds. Bridgette would love nothing more than to be adopted by her own active and loving family. She has been spayed, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRIDGETTE, a Newburgh Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
