Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maison is a 25 lb, 5 Year old, Poodle-Bichon Mix, Neutered, White with some apricot, He is up to date on Shots and very friendly. He is ok with meeting dogs on walks but would do better in a home as the only pet as he can get a bit jealous and possessive with his owner and with his things. He loves to cuddle and be with his person. Maison's only issue is that he had some anxiety and was a bit protective of his previous "mom". We would love for Maison to go to a home with no young children and also being the only pet.... and with an adult or adults with dog experience. Someone that will spend some time giving him the love and attention he craves . He has lots of energy and would do well in a home where he will get lots of exercise. Maison's energy would do better in a fenced in yard of his own. He is NOT best suited to an apartment where he doesn't have room to exercise off his energy. We prefer that Maison not be left alone all day in a home where everyone works full time, but someone that works from home or works part time is just fine. He loves to play and bonds easily to his caretaker. He would be great for someone that wants to have a running buddy or long hikes or walks.

PLEASE NOTE: that we do not adopt LONG DISTANCE! You must live either in NJ, Southern NY, Eastern PA or South Western CT to qualify. (Basically within 2 hours or so drive of Northern NJ)
