~~Buddha is a very handsome young Bulldog/Pit mix. He is short and stocky with an adorable face! His lower jaw is short often leaving his tongue out for even cuter pics! :) Buddha has been living with the owner/founder of Luvable Dog Rescue for about a year with ten other little dogs. In this time we have come to find that it is not a suitable living situation for him living with so many other dogs. He is great most of the time but has shown some food aggression towards the little dogs (NEVER PEOPLE). Because of this it would be best for Buddha to be an only dog or have a large female dog to play with (no littles). He does great meeting other dogs and people and is quite social :) Unfortunately he has received no basic training so far so that will need to be done in his new home. He is VERY treat motivated and receptive to learning so training his basics should come very easy. Here he walks offleash on hikes twice a day with his pack and never runs off. He needs some practice on leash as he does pull and is strong but responds well to being worked. He is great in the car and visiting public places, is house broken and pretty mellow. He hangs out in the office at Luvable with us and snoozes most of the day away but loves to play and be active as well. He would be a great dog to take to work! He misses his old best friend (a 20lb Terrier) they loved to chase and play, so he definitely would like to socialize with other dogs and play as long as there is no food to fight over.
