My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANDREW AND BAILEY HAVE LIMITED OUT ON THE NUMBER OF ADOPTION APPLICATIONS WE ARE TAKING ON THEM. WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPS. THANK YOU. Andrew and his sister Bailey are 5 month old Shepherd/Border Collie mix pups. They were found in an abandoned building. Both pups are extremely frightened and shy and will need a home that is patient and loving with them. It doesn't seem like they've had much human contact in their short lives. Both are now in the prison training program getting the skills and confidence they need to be great dogs.

On June 05, 2015, Bailey was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. This dog will be returning to Friendship in a few weeks so get your adoption app in ASAP. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Hand deliver the app to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please do not email the app in.

If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. Or email at adoptions@friendshipapl.org.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
