My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sir Duke was left abandoned when the owners of his home moved out. It was dead of winter and he had no shelter food or water. Just existing in a 6x6 foot pen. Sir Duke is a big boy so that was like putting him in a box. Thankfully we got a call from the neighbors who had noticed that nobody was living in the house anymore and they asked if we could rescue this poor fellow. Of course we rushed over to get him and he just greeted us with slobbers and a non stop wagging tail. He was pretty skinny and dehydrated so we got him back to the rescue quickly and assessed his condition. He turned out to be heart worm positive. We brought him into the vet for more extensive blood work and xrays. We then had him treated for the heart worms and as soon as he was healthy we had him neutered. So this gorgeous big fellow is now ready for his forever home. We estimate him to be about 4 1/2 years young. He is house broken and has had all of his shots. He's ready for your loving family to bring him home! ADOPTION FEE $500
