If you are a gentle person, Darcy is ready to meet you!
Darcy has been learning to trust humans. In fact, now that she’s feeling more safe, she’ loves for you to pet her and will even come sit next to you and roll over for you to pet her belly. And she’ll purr. She’s still shy, but she’s getting there! And quickly!
Darcy has a passion for other cats and needs a home with a kitty companion. In her foster home, she longs for attention from the other cats, but they all ignore her. It’s so sad to watch, because she never loses hope that one of the other cats will notice her--- or play with her--- one day.
Darcy hopes to meet her human soulmate who will be patient and give her time to show how sweet she is. If you have a cat who needs a cat friend, better yet.
Is there a patient, loving person out there with a cat who is longing for a playmate? Darcy would love to meet you.If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email Information about the rescue and adoption process can also be found at along with a full listing of our adoptable pets.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
