My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LAYLA is a 6 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 76 pounds. Layla is a very loving and gentle girl. She is very affectionate and will Always greet you with a wagging tail. She deserves to be loved and given the care that she needs. Layla enjoys going for walks and may do best with an Easy walk harness as she is excited to go for walks. She also enjoys being outside and exploring a fenced in yard. Layla is good with other dogs. She hasn't lived with inside cats but she lived on a farm with feral cats and never bothered them so she may be ok with cats. She is approved for kids 10+.

Update (7/8): Layla's bio may say she is six but this girl has spunk! She loves chasing tennis balls in the yard and has great speed. Most of the time she brings it back, other times she gets distracted and detours, making her foster parents do some retrieving. Layla has received two baths while in the home and though she didn't particularly enjoy the pampering she was tolerant and the car ride made up for the experience. Layla is thrilled to go for car rides . We crate Layla at night and if we are out. After a couple minutes trying to convince us to let her out, she settles in and is quiet for the night. Layla is a fun and playful girl and can't wait for her forever playmates to find her!

Update (6/29): Layla is in her foster home and learning the routine of meals, potty breaks, and bedtime. Although six, she is very playful and is super fast retrieving. She often overruns the ball and does a quick tight turnaround to get it. Layla got her first bath with us and was did just fine with it.
