Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is available for adoption or fostering. He is between 1 and 2 years old and was rescued out of a shelter in Jackson, Mississippi. He's medium sized and good natured. He loves to meet and greet and he's a sort of in your face, wanting to play, guy if you are a dog. If you are a person, he wants to sit next to you and let you rub his underside, belly up. He is learning how to walk on a leash. In his other life, he obviously had the run of the land. He's a loyal companion type dog, eager to bond, bright eyed and exuberant. He will need to live in the North or Colorado or Portland or New Hampshire, etc. He could easily stay right here in the interminably long hot summers of Mississippi but he will need air conditioning because he gets hot easily. He's very still while we bathe him and spray him with water to cool him down. Sort of a classy rags kind of guy. The type who would wear a bowtie if he were a lawyer. Probably with a button down collar and nice suit from the Brooks Brothers. As of June 16, 2015, Archie has been sprung from the shelter but is still in the Jackson, Mississippi area receiving heartworm treatment. Although he is currently in Jackson, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee.
