Socks-adopted's Story...
Socks is 5th pup from the aussie mixed litter. She is playful and friendly. All the pups are well socialized. Socks is the runt of the litter. She weighs a little over 4 lbs as of 1/13. She is a medium-energy puppy. Not too hyper, not too calm. She appears to be mostly yellow lab or hound, while the others from the litter have more australian shepherd traits. We think she will be a medium-sized dog fully grown (40-60? lbs), but we don't know how big her parents were, so it's just a guess. She is approximately 9 weeks old as of 1/20.

This litter arrived in foster care on 1/14 and will be able to go home with adopters on 1/28 after their health quarantine is up.
We are not a shelter. Our dogs are fostered in a home environment. All meetings are by appointment. We do not know if any of our dogs are good with cats as we have no way to cat test them in our foster program.

If you are interested in meeting or possibly adopting this dog, please submit our adoption application to begin the process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Socks-adopted, a Blakeslee Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Blakeslee, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Blakeslee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blakeslee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blakeslee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blakeslee paves the way for another one to be saved.
