Sonny~adopted's Story...
What can we say other than submit your application NOW!? Sonny is adorable, cuddly, and gets along with everyone! He's listed as a terrier mix, 12 weeks old, and 15 lbs. His hair is very soft, almost like a Wheaten Terrier's hair, but with the coloring of an Irish Wolfhound. We don't know what his parents were, so we're only guessing at his eventual size...probably somewhere in the 40-50 lb range, but again it's just a guess.

Sonny is sweet and social, and EXTREMELY cuddly. He loves to be held and nuzzle his head up under your chin. Like all puppies, he will need training and supervision to grow into a good canine citizen adult dog.

Sonny has received his first shots, been dewormed and received flea/tick treatment. He will be neutered as soon as he is old enough.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny~adopted, a Blakeslee Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier for sale in Blakeslee, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier puppy from a breeder in Blakeslee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blakeslee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blakeslee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blakeslee paves the way for another one to be saved.
