My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yoda is pending adoption and will be going to his new home after the holiday weekend.

Yoda's a great dog. He LOVES playing with the husky at his foster home. It's hysterical to see this chunky dog with short little legs tearing around the yard trying to keep up with a long-legged husky as he whizzes past! Yoda is housebroken, crate trained (occasionally can be found napping in his crate with the door open), rides well in the car, loves men/women/children and enjoys the company of other dogs. He pulls a bit on the leash, so needs training in that area. He loves to lean against you for cuddles & hugs, and then will slide down and roll over on his back for a belly rub. He'll follow you around the house as you go about your day, and just really enjoys attention from the humans in his foster home. He is definitely not good with cats as he has tried to chase them and also chases rabbits in the yard, so we're recommending him for a home without cats or small/furry/feathered pets. He doesn't like to share his dinner with other dogs, so he is happy to run into his crate at mealtime. If we try to feed him outside his crate near the other dogs, he will actually pick up the food bowl and walk away from them. So to keep him happy, we feed him in his crate with the door shut. If you don't have any other dogs, then you wouldn't even notice that he has any food issues. He's fine with people around his food.
