My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In order to meet our dogs, you must  submit an application :

Clove is fine with our cat.  We've brought her in to meet him several times and she's curious but when he stops moving she loses interest.  No attempt to harm.  It's possible she might chase a cat that runs, but then she'd lose interest when it stopped moving or if something else caught her attention.  I think she can live with cats pretty easily.  Our cat won't come out if he feels a dog is dangerous and the first time we brought Clove in to meet him, he came right out to check her out. Honestly, she seems more interested in his food than chasing him. She's fine with lower key dogs who are medium energy and playful, but didn't care much for a high intensity terrier we had here who has since been adopted.  She loves people and toys.  She is crate trained and we think she might be housebroken.  She potties every time we take her outside.  Very pretty girl with a nice fluffy coat.  After a bit of convincing, she sat still for us while we shaved behind her ears which were very matted.

Original Shelter Bio: Clove was picked up as a stray and not reclaimed. She was pretty freaked out in the shelter, especially when they stuck her in a small dog cage. Outside of the cage, she's a bouncy happy little girl! She'll roll over for belly rubs and loves to play with other dogs...which the shelter staff discovered after they moved her out of quarantine and into a bigger kennel with other dogs. She also loves to chase her tail and play with a water hose! The shelter staff says she's quite a jumper...can jump high. I'm guessing this cutie could be trained jump into your arms. She sounds like a fun little pooch who would like to live with an active family. We'll post more about her after she arrives in foster care. She's estimated to be 2 years old and weighs about 15 lb.
