Delilah's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Delilah's Story...
Delilah is a super sweet, high energy 2 year old pup who is looking for an experienced forever home! We believe she is a boxer/bulldog mix, and at about 70 lbs she's a big girl! While not outright dog aggressive as she has lived with other pets in the past, she greatly prefers to live in a home without other dogs (she cannot go to dog parks, daycare etc). She is excellent and very gentle with kids. We do not know how she is with cats at this time. Delilah needs an active family, preferably with a fenced yard (but those without will still be considered). She is strong on leash, so needs a family willing to work with her on this issue, potentially with the help of a trainer. Email us for an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a bridgeport Boxer/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Bulldog for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a Boxer/Bulldog dog from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
