My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SALLY is a 4 year old spayed yellow female who weighs 63 pounds. She is a very sweet and petite young girl. She has lived her young life as a breeder dog having litter after litter. Sally is looking forward to getting the love and attention she deserves. She is a little shy at first but quickly warms up to you. Sally seems to come when called and enjoys pets and attention. She is good with other dogs. She doesn't seem to pay much attention to cats so she may be OK with cats. Sally is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (7/13): Sally loves her tennis ball. She will run around with it, pounce on it and throw it in the air. Sally is such a good dog- and would love to be adopted out to a family who will have patience with her and practice positive training. She is responsive to her name. Sally knows sit, come, crate and we are working on drop it. She is a mixture of couch potato and energy. Sally needs a fenced in yard and needs a cat free home.

Update (7/7): Good morning! Sally #2 here. Just stopped in to say I'm ready for my forever family. Don't get me wrong, I love my foster family. But would love to make a family very happy. I know sit, come and crate. Love tennis balls and played fetched for the first time last week (it was fun!). I was a good girl at the Vet when they gave me shots and removed my sutures- and I got treats! I have gone on some walks with the two resident Labs. One even licked my face- so silly. I like cats too much so my preference would be a no- cat household. Contact your AC to come meet me.

Update (6/29): Sally went for her first walk yesterday. She is getting used to wearing a harness as she's never worn one before. Sally was unsure at first but got a little better after walking for a while. She met a dog through a fence and did fine. Sally knows the commands "come" "sit" and "crate". She is a ball lover and likes to play with her big tennis ball. Sally will thrive with patience and basic obedience training. She is smart and treat motivated. Contact your AC to come meet Sally the sweetie!
