Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Redford. I am a petite, very friendly 2 year old reddish buff cocker boy. I used to travel the world and participate in the AKC dog shows with my cocker companions. Some of them were also therapy dogs, but these folks were not told if I was trained as one. Chesty (also available for adoption) is my brother and true sibling. We were all treated well and very loved. Our elderly owners asked for rescue help because they could no longer take proper care of all of us. The two cocker girls were taken in by another rescue and I came here with my brother and another cocker boy. We were overgrown and badly matted from not being groomed for quite a long time. It took several hours to shave us down, but now we are all more comfortable and a lot happier.
I am heartworm negative, updated on shots and in good health. I seem to be mostly house trained. I am dog social, I have now been neutered and I am a friendly guy, but it does take me some time to warm up to people I don't know. Please give me a 2nd chance, I would love to be your sweet baby boy and a best friend to spend quality time with. Fill out an application, get approved........I would love to meet you and share a great life with you in a loving home environment. A fenced yard would be a plus too!
