My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tilly aka TillyBird is an ultra-fluffy, grey girl with a blaze of white on her throat and short white socks on her feet. She is a smaller cat with medium-length hair. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and front declawed. About 11 years old—born some-time in mid-2003. She is fine with children - no issues.

A pretty face. A more solitary cat, who is timid at first, Tilly will sit on your lap when she is finally comfortable. She is also a very alert/sensitive cat, who always lets her current owner know if there is a problem (i.e. when the baby was crying, if the other cat was unwell).

Tily has a very gentle meow, walks lightly on her feet; she is very agile! It used to be thought that she was spring loaded which is how she came to be called TillyBird. She was a stray cat who came to her current family from another home. Tilly currently lives with her feline friend Simon, who is also available for adoption, and can be adopted separately if necessary. Her current owner shares: "Sometimes I think from her being homeless and then passed through two homes, she “earned” her keep by being vigilant of the other cat and the baby. Loves to sit quietly in an open window ledge (with a screen) and gaze outside. She needs a clean box. In good health, vaccines up to date."

Tilly is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue.
