Hello World,
My name is Daisey and I’m a darling, loving and sweet little bichon of seven. I’m a natural meeter-and-greeter who loves people and other dogs. My foster Mom says I’m adorable, intuitive and happy – and that I smile, too!
My Aunties agree that I’m a cuddler and a snuggler who is charming, eager to please and VERY smart! I’m also housebroken, love to go on walks (Mom says I can already walk one mile - and have a cute little wiggle when I do) and am great at riding in the car! I also love to be petted and am rendered helpless when you rub my tummy!
Maybe you are wondering how I became a FurKid. Well, I once belonged to two Dads and had a great life. Then a short time ago my ‘primary dad’ had to move into this place called ‘assisted living.’ He couldn’t take me but thought that my ‘secondary dad’ would take care of me. Well, that didn’t happen! Instead I found myself in this place called a shelter. It didn’t feel like my home at all. I was afraid and a bit unsure of myself. Then my BFK Aunties came along, saw me and just knew (that’s what they said!) that I should become a FurKid. And so I did – and am!
With love, a doggy foster brother to follow and chase (I still can’t convince him to play with me but I’m not giving up yet!) and a wonderful foster Mom to guide me, I have blossomed! (Silly me. That makes me sound like I’m a flower, rather than a FurKid!) Now I get to go for walks (take out my harness and I’m raring to go) and rides in the car (Mom jiggles the keys and I jump into the car, find a cozy spot – then I’m set for the ride). Oh! and I get to cuddle and follow Mom happily wherever she goes.
I’m definitely good company and very well behaved. Well, that is except for the cat. You see I don’t know what to do with a cat other than chase her. Mom says it’s natural but she wishes that I would be less interested. Oh dear!
Otherwise I’m a happy and loving little girl who is knows her commands and is always pleased to show you. I would be happiest in a home with people I can entertain, love and enjoy. Another furkid would be fine too. So if you like to go for walks and rides, want a loving companion who will look up at you and smile – and if you like to snuggle, please ask for me. I’ll be waiting to meet and adore you.
