This adorable little guy is Rocky, a 10 year old yorkie that would love a fresh start in life. Rocky came to us from our Newark facility after he was turned in by his family. He was a bit distraught to be uprooted from the only home he had ever known, but Rocky realized that he is in good hands and now he's looking forward to a bright new future. Please don't overlook Rocky because of his age.....this little guy is at the age where he is mature, well behaved, easy going, and is very content to be a little lap warmer. Rocky has a mild heart murmur and although his tag from his owner said that he was on medication, after a thorough exam by our veterinarian and bloodwork, we found him to be in good health. Rocky absolutely adores people and makes friends so easily. All you need to do is show him a little kindness and he'll crawl right up into your lap for a snooze. Rocky is the perfect gentleman too. He takes treats very gently and is very well behaved on a leash. He doesn't mind other well behaved, mellow dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either. Rocky is hoping to win you over and get the loving home and family that he deserves. File#24867 6/11/15
