found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
If you would like to meet/adopt this animal or anyone else, then please fill out the on-line adoption application at www.angelsonwheels.org and the foster(s) will be in touch within 7 days once the application is processed! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). You only need to complete 1 application for multiple animals that you're interested in. t's advised to submit an application immediately Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, we may get applications to bump yours. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and family, and we thank you in advance for your patience.
Meet Brandy, who was born around 3-6-15. She is going to be a large dog as an adult we believe given her current age and weight. We are guessing she is a German Shepherd mix with possibly some retriever. We really don't know just a guess. At his last vet check when she was spayed on July 7th he weighed 25 pounds. Brandy is a very friendly, extremely sweet, incredibly smart puppy. who is full of kisses. She is a little more independent then her siblings. She is doing very well on her house training, but is not crate trained. She is fabulous with other dogs, will bark at the cats and want to play with them, which many cats may not appreciate.
She does wonderfully with children, however she is a little shy and would to best in a home with quieter older children as the little ones might scare her. She is very sweet and so precious and we don't want little Brandy to uncomfortable in a home that is too loud for her.
She is being fostered in a home in South Naperville with her siblings Bacardi and Schnapps. The foster mom's home in Naperville is where you would go to meet this pup with a submitted, approved adoption application. She had mange when she arrived, and has recovered beautiful. All of her fur is grown back, and she is as cute as can be.
Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time and you don't plan on enrolling in doggy daycare or have someone come over, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.
Standard adoption fee is $300 (cash or check) and includes spay which is now done, all of her puppy vaccations, rabies vaccination, deworming with panacur, Revolution, 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, micro-chipping and any other medical. This pups has been treated for mange.
We must have an application, sometimes a home visit, reference checked including the vet of current and/or past cats and/or dogs, to approve an application. At the meet and greet, we will need to meet all members of the family including any four legged doggies in your home to assure everyone gets alone. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
